Gonflayed's Creamy Mashed Potatoes:
These mashed potatoes, infused with Gonflayed S.P.O.G. Seasoning & Rub, are sure to be a hit at any meal, offering a perfect balance of creamy texture and robust flavor.
This recipe feeds 8-10 people. If cooking for a lesser amount of people, cut the recipe’s ingredients in half and follow the same instructions.
Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 30 Minutes | Total Time: 40 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 5lbs. Gold Potatoes
- 2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Stick of Butter, Salted (8 Tbsp)
- 2 Tbsp Gonflayed S.P.O.G. Seasoning & Rub (to taste)
- 3/4 Tsp Salt (to taste)
Instructions:
- Rinse, peel, & cut your potatoes into about 1 inch cubes and then place them in a 5 Qt. pot. Add water to the pot about an inch above the potatoes and set to boil on a medium-high heat.
- Let the potatoes boil for about 30-35 minutes or until they break apart when poked with a fork.
- Once cooked, strain the potatoes, and add to a large mixing bowl with the stick of butter.
- Mash the potatoes and mix in the stick of butter until melted.
- Once the butter is melted, mix in the remaining ingredients. We use an electric hand mixer. Mix the potatoes until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
Once complete, let cool and enjoy!!
